Select the tab Instant Formatting and then click on the Turn On button and click OK. To ensure all references are instantly formatted click on the small arrow next to Bibliography. Unformatted citations will not produce a reference list. Search for the reference: enter title keywords or author’s surname and click Find. 2.Click Insert Citation on the EndNote toolbar. In order to use the Cite While you Write function of EndNote online to insert citations and create a bibliography in Word you will need to install the Cite While you Write Plug-in.

If the style you require is not available, click on Select Another Style from the drop down menu.
